이벤트에 참여하기 위해서는 Uthgard Christmas zone 모드를 패치 하셔야 하는데,
아직 패치를 하지 않으신 분들중, 다옥포탈2.8버전을 이미 사용중이시거나,
그렇지 않다면 새로 설치를 하시기 바랍니다.
2012년 12월 23일 서버리붓 이후에 다옥포탈2.8을 실행하시면 자동으로 패치가 이루어 진다고 합니다.
다옥포탈2.8을 새로 설치하실 때에는, administrator 계정으로 설치하시기 바랍니다.
(실행파일 마우스 우클릭-> administrator 로 실행 -> 'Help, Check for Updates' 선택)

여러분들은 Mag Mell, Cotswold, Mularn 에 위치한 Santa를 통해서 X-MAS 랜드에 입장하실 수 있습니다.
그리고, /returnhome 이라고 입력하시면, X-MAS 랜드를 떠나실 수 있습니다.
X-MAS 랜드에 입장하시면, 여러분의 렐름동료를 포함하여, 모든 다른 플레이어들은 당신을 눈뭉치로 공격할 수 있습니다.
눈뭉치들은 이벤트 존 여기저기에 숨겨져 있으니, 둘러 보십시요!
따뜻한 장작불 곁에 가시면, 줄어든 HP 가 회복 되실 겁니다.
상대를 쓰러뜨린 숫자에 따라 Uthalis 가 보상으로 주어집니다.
포인트는 상대를 쓰러뜨릴때에 추가되어지고, 자신이 죽으면 차감이 되어집니다.
모든 플레이어들을 위해 - 당신은 같은 렐름동료를 때릴수 있고, 그들 또한 당신을 때릴 수 있습니다.

첫번째 장소는 굉장히 가치있는 보상의 수집품을 Grand Prize 로 주는 반면,
두번째와 세번째 장소 또한 산타의 꾸러미(매우특별한)에서 한가지 선물을 선택 할 수 있습니다.
스코어 리스트에서 상위 7등까지는 Uthalis 를 획득하게 됩니다.

Get your fur coats on over your armor and head over to X-Mas land between December 24th(18:00) - 26th(23:59) (GMT+1)! The snowball fight is back!
You will need the Uthgard Christmas zone to participate if you do not already have it installed. This mod will ask to automatically install if you have DAOC Portal 2.8 beginning after the 23/12/2012 reboot. If you do not have DAOC Portal 2.8, please launch DAOC Portal as administrator (Right click, Run as administrator) then choose 'Help, Check for Updates'.
Summary of event:
You may enter X-Mas land by visiting Santa located in Mag Mell, Cotswold, or Mularn.
You may leave X-Mas land by typing /returnhome.
Once in X-Mas land, any other player (including your own realm mates!) can harm you with snowballs.
Snowballs are hidden throughout the zone. Explore!
Visit warming campfires to regenerate health.
Uthalis is awarded on kills.
Points are added for kills. Points are subtracted for deaths.
Every player for themselves - you can hit your realm mates and they can hit you!
First place gets the Grand Prize a collection of extremely valuable rewards, while second and third place also get to choose one present from Santa's (very special) bag. The remaining top 7 players on the top score list will get Uthalis.
